Dumplings/Dim Sums translated as 'touch the heart' comes from the folklore that dim sums were created by royal chefs to 'touch the hearts' of Chinese emperors. It was the interesting shape and taste that made dim sum a popular tea house snack and eventually a staple on the slik route.

The purple skin is made from red cabbage juice, wheat and potato starch. A melange of mushrooms, shitake, oyster and button mushroom, served with chili soy dip.
